We are seeking a Pathologist for ongoing locum coverage in a hospital-based anatomic pathology setting. This opportunity offers a stable weekday schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities.
Assignment Details:
- Start: July 2026
- Ongoing coverage
- Single-site hospital setting
Schedule:
- Monday Friday
- 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- No call
- No weekends
Practice Setting:
- Hospital-based anatomic pathology
- EMR: Meditech
- Support staff available
Work Details:
- General surgical pathology
- Cytopathology
- Frozen section interpretation
- Basic clinical pathology
Procedures / Skills:
- Frozen sections (on-site)
- Grossing (with tech support; occasional backup required)
Additional Details:
- No autopsies required
- Majority case mix includes GI pathology
- Cytology/FNA experience preferred
- Backup pathologist and outside lab support available
Support Staff:
- Dedicated grossing technician
Requirements:
- Physician (MD/DO)
- Comfortable with general pathology workflow and frozen sections
