Snelling Staffing is recruiting for a skilled CNC Machinist to join a well-established Louisville manufacturer. This opportunity is ideal for someone with CNC programming and setup experience who takes pride in producing high-quality precision components.


Training Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM (1st Shift)


Regular Schedule (Beginning October 2026): Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities:


Set up, program, and operate CNC and manual machining equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and dimensional tolerances.
Write and modify CNC programs using G-Code and/or conversational programming.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
Set up fixtures and tooling with minimal supervision.
Perform routine machine maintenance.
Maintain quality standards while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications:


3+ years of CNC machining experience or completion of a machining apprenticeship/vocational program preferred.
Experience with CNC setup, programming, and operation.
Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
Proficient with precision measuring equipment.
Strong math skills, including basic trigonometry.
High school diploma or GED.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
