Help Desk Technician Level II - Contract to FT Project Details:
We're hiring a Help Desk Technician II to serve as the escalation point for our Tier 1 team, supporting clients across the Greater Worcester, MA area. You'll own tickets escalated from Tier 1 - server and network issues, Microsoft 365 and identity problems, backup and patching failures, and anything needing deeper diagnosis. Most work is remote from the office, with scheduled travel to client sites for hands-on issues and project work. A great fit for a technician who has outgrown pure workstation support and wants server, network, and cloud exposure, with a path toward a systems or network engineering track. Must Haves:

- Comfortable serving as the sole onsite technical resource at a client location with no other IT staff present
- Experience troubleshooting Windows Server issues and serving as an escalation point for Tier 1 technicians
- Experience investigating and remediating endpoint security alerts
- Experience administering Active Directory/Entra ID beyond basic account maintenance (OU structure, Group Policy, directory synchronization)
- Microsoft 365 tenant-level administration: Exchange Online mail flow, SharePoint/OneDrive permissions, Teams, licensing, conditional access
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and a reliable personal vehicle
- Comfort with scripting (a strong plus, not required)
- Prior MSP or multi-client environment experience
- Prior experience in a healthcare or mental health environment (a plus, not required)
