Accessibility Expert Needed for Website and PDF Audit
We the Creative
We are looking for an experienced **ADA / Digital Accessibility Specialist** to review website pages and associated PDF documents for accessibility compliance. The PDF will be 3-40 pages, and the Website will be a copy of the PDF with some minor changes. The website and PDF are being built in Figma.
Website
* Audit website pages against **WCAG 2.2 Level AA**
* Conduct automated and manual accessibility testing
* Perform screen-reader testing
* Review heading hierarchy and semantic structure
* Test keyboard accessibility and focus order
* Review color contrast
* Review link and button labeling for screen readers
* Review images and graphics and **write appropriate ALT text**
* Review forms, menus, and other interactive elements
* Review PDFs for applicable **PDF/UA and WCAG accessibility requirements**
* Review PDF tagging and tag structure
* Review reading order and heading hierarchy
* Review images and graphics and **write ALT text/image descriptions**
* Review tables and lists
* Review links and bookmarks
* Identify color contrast issues
* Test PDFs using a screen reader and accessibility checker
Deliverable
* Detailed accessibility audit report
* List of accessibility issues and their locations with clear instructions for our development/design team to correct each issue
* Applicable WCAG success criteria
* ALT text for all applicable images and graphics
* Review of updated website pages and PDFs after corrections are made
* Final accessibility check using an accessibility checker and screen reader
* Final report identifying which issues have been resolved and any remaining concerns
