About Klarity

Klarity is a Series B AI startup whose customers include Google, OpenAI, Stripe, and DoorDash. The team is 9 people across engineering, product, and design, generating 8-figure revenue with 7× growth last fiscal year. Klarity is building a fundamentally new UI paradigm for enterprise AI: real-time WebRTC-powered companion agents, generative dashboards that visualize complex enterprise context graphs, and agentic chat that operates the web application directly.

About the Role

Klarity is hiring a Staff AI Frontend Engineer who sits at the intersection of product design and frontend engineering. You are an engineer first, but with exceptional design sensibility. You will define and implement the look and feel of AI-native workflows, ensuring complex enterprise tools feel as intuitive as the best consumer apps. You'll ship at AI speeds, work directly with a tight founding team, and help define the future of frontend SDLC.

What You'll Own

• Architect scalable frontend systems: reusable component libraries, state management patterns, API integration, bundle optimization
• Own and ship the primary user-facing features end-to-end — React components through API integration to production polish
• Bridge AI capabilities with elegant user experiences; partner with product and backend engineers
• Build complex frontend systems including real-time WebRTC streaming for the companion agent, generative dashboards, and agentic chat
• Use AI tools to rapidly prototype design concepts in code
• Help define how the team scales code review and SDLC with agents

RequirementsMust-Have

• 6+ years shipping production-grade products at Senior to Staff level
• Mastery of modern web technologies: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind
• Ability to ship multiple features per day using AI tooling
• Bleeding-edge instincts on the current AI development landscape
• Prior founder, founding engineer, or major scope ownership at a real startup
• Located in SF Downtown or willing to relocate; 5 days in-person
