Position Summary

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to The Bier Haus recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen. This position plays an important role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by ensuring every plate is prepared with consistency, accuracy, and care.
What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items according to The Bier Haus recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Set up and stock kitchen stations before each shift.
• Work efficiently during lunch, dinner, and special events while maintaining food quality and consistency.
• Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and served promptly.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Keep workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas clean and organized throughout each shift.
• Assist with food prep, inventory rotation, and receiving deliveries.
• Work collaboratively with fellow kitchen staff and front-of-house team members.
• Help maintain a positive, respectful, and team-focused work environment.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience is preferred.
• Passion for preparing quality food and providing excellent guest experiences.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently bend, reach, stoop, and lift.
• Work safely around hot equipment and in a busy kitchen environment.
