Branch SpecialistApply**Job#: 3041365****Job Description:**Branch Specialist**Location:** La Mesa, California (On-site)Role OverviewWe are seeking a Branch Specialist to provide exceptional member service in a high-volume, schedule-driven environment. This role focuses on teller-line operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of financial transactions. The position requires adaptability across multiple systems and engagement methods to ensure an optimal member experience.Key Responsibilities* Respond to in-person member inquiries and requests promptly within a structured operation.* Perform teller-line transactions and related functions for savings, checking, consumer loans, and credit cards.* Protect and verify the identity of members, reviewing account information for alerts and irregularities.* Act and respond to situations indicating potential fraud or abuse.* Demonstrate proficiency in multiple systems, active listening, and engagement techniques.* Identify and recommend additional products and services to meet member needs.* Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.* Perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications* Experience with cash-handling in a fast-paced environment.* Reliable attendance and adherence to schedule.* Proficiency with computers, banking software, and the ability to navigate multiple screens.* Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.* Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.* Effective verbal, written communication, and active listening skills.* Ability to resolve customer issues professionally and tactfully.* Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and decision-making skills.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.* Basic mathematical skills for accurate calculations.Preferred Qualifications* Experience in customer service, preferably in banking or a financial institution.* Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with members.Work Environment* Employees are expected to be available to work Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.* On Saturdays, employees are required to work an 8-hour shift, with specific hours varying based on branch needs. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
