• Shift: Day shifts (4x10-hour shifts/week; hours vary: 06:15-16:45, 06:30-16:30, 07:00-17:00) willing to take night beeper call 1-2 nights/week
• Hours/Week: Approximately 40-50 hours
• Employment Type: Contract (full-time or 3 weeks/month)
• Licensure/Certifications: PA medical license or IMLC, ACLS, PALS; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Experience: At least 2 years preferred

What You ll Do

• Provide comprehensive cardiac anesthesia coverage for diverse surgical cases
• Collaborate closely with surgical and clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Manage anesthesia for a broad range of procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Take on night beeper call to support emergency cases as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR system
• Contribute to a dynamic, Level I Trauma-designated facility with complex patient populations
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and department initiatives

What You Need
Required:

• PA medical license or IMLC license
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• At least 2 years of anesthesia experience, specifically in cardiac procedures (preferred)
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends

Preferred:

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Experience working in a Level I Trauma center
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
