Cooperate with maintenance and facility staff to schedule activities and repairs. Ensure all custodial equipment is used properly, cared for, stored, and maintained; report nonworking equipment by submitting a work order. Fold laundry and put it away; if laundry must be completed and has not been picked up, contact Stevie. Use custodial building supplies and equipment efficiently and properly. Communicate with custodial supervisor daily. Assist with custodial assignments resulting from normal scheduling, absenteeism, special activities, and projects. Assist with disinfecting if COVID cases are identified in buildings. Complete all tasks as assigned. Provide outstanding customer service skills in working effectively with district staff and administrators. Know cleaning methods, materials, and equipment. Work well with the public and outside groups. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Handle a multitude of issues/responsibilities with minimal supervision. Arrive up to two hours early for snow removal to ensure walkways are clear before school starts (on call). Lift up to 25 lbs and push/pull equipment. Stand, walk, and regularly ascend/descend stairs for 90% of the scheduled shift. Reach above head and below waist. Work overtime as required. Apply on Indeed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
