Medical Assistant Washington DCPay From: $21 Per Hour MUST: 3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a high volume multi-specialty practice site Experience in the colorectal field a plus Rooming patients and obtaining vitals Obtaining detailed medical histories Setting up for procedures Entering and updating patient information in EMR and ensuring records are up to date Preparing and sanitizing rooms High School Diploma or GED DUTIES: Duties include but are not limited to the following: Room patients Obtain vital signs and detailed medical histories Review list of current medications with patients Assist with exams and procedures Set up rooms for procedures Document patient information and interactions in EMR Schedule follow up appointments Respond to patients inquiries over the phone and thru the portal Provide patient education Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
