JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Medical Director (Physician) Location: San Antonio, Texas Status: Full-Time / Salary Manager: Reports to Head of Practice ________________________________________________________________________________ ROLE OVERVIEW The Medical Director serves as the clinical authority and stabilizing leader for Root Causes Medicine. This role is responsible for maintaining clinical standards, ensuring patient safety, supporting provider development, and reinforcing consistent medical practices across the clinic. The ideal Medical Director brings steady leadership, sound clinical judgment, and a structured approach to care delivery, while remaining adaptable to the individualized needs of patients within an integrative model. This role is not primarily administrative in the abstract, nor purely patient-care focused. It is designed for a physician who values clear protocols, reliable systems, and collaborative leadership, and who partners closely with operational leadership to support sustainable clinic growth.
