Senior Cyber Resiliency Test Engineer

Position Summary Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cyber Resiliency Test Engineer supporting the TMAS 3 96 CTG Task Order and the 48th Cyberspace Test Squadron (48 CTS/TGE), located at Eglin AFB, FL. The Cyber Resiliency Test Engineer will work within the Process and Policy Team to provide cyber test planning support, conduct system security analysis, identify vulnerabilities, and develop cyber survivability strategies across DoD systems.This position offers the opportunity to contribute to mission‑driven efforts focused on cyber test planning, vulnerability assessments, system requirements development, and DoD/Service‑level guidance for next‑generation defense systems.This is a full-time, on-site position at Eglin AFB with approximately 30% travel. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: Cyber Test Strategy & PlanningSupport acquisition programs in developing cyber test strategies integrated with broader acquisition, development, deployment, and functional test plans.Develop and document standard, repeatable processes for conducting Mission Based Cyber Risk Assessments (MBCRAs), Cyber Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E), Cooperative Vulnerability and Penetration Assessments (CVPA), and Adversarial Assessments (AA).Assist programs in documenting cyber survivability (cybersecurity and cyber resiliency) test strategies, methods, and requirements.Cyber Test Procedure Development & Execution SupportSupport the development of cyber test and evaluation procedures for aircraft, munitions, C4ISR, and IT systems.Assist with planning, execution, analysis, and reporting for Cyber DT&E, CVPA, and AA events.Provide expertise, lessons learned, and process guidance during system testing to support cyber objectives.Requirements & Documentation DevelopmentDocument system information requirements and work products needed by DT&E and OT&E communities for cyber test planning, execution, and reporting.Provide programs with requirements for Statements of Work, technical requirements documents, Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), DT&E/OT&E entrance and exit criteria, and related acquisition documentation.Policy Development & GuidanceDevelop DoD and Air Force guidance related to cyber testing, acquisition, and survivability assessments. Inform updates to DoD cyber test policy and standard processes.Document recommendations for integrating cybersecurity deficiency reporting and watch items into standard DT&E/OT&E processes.Program Support & FacilitationFacilitate MBCRAs for supported programs and guide cyber test teams through execution.Work with programs to analyze ongoing cyber vulnerability assessments and translate findings into actionable test planning activities. Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizenMinimum Required QualificationsClearance: Active Top Secret clearance requiredEducation: Master’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems) or engineering discipline (Electrical, Computer, Systems Engineering).Years of Experience: 10 + years of relevant technical experience in cybersecurity, aircraft/weapon systems, and/or IT systems.Significant understanding of DoD acquisition and test and evaluation processes.Experience planning and conducting test and evaluation activities.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Excellent organizational, decision‑making, and communication skills (oral and written).Demonstrated self‑initiative and ability to work under minimal supervision.Ability to work effectively in small and large team environments.Ability to travel up to 15–20 weeks per year.Preferred QualificationsClearance: TS/SCIStrong understanding of the DoD Cyber Developmental and Operational Cyber Test & Evaluation Guidebook.Experience conducting Mission Based Cyber Risk Assessments (MBCRAs).Experience planning and conducting cyber test activities.Knowledge of SCADA, critical infrastructure, and control systems.Experience establishing cybersecurity guidelines and practices at the DoD or Service level.Knowledge of Cybersecurity Assess and Authorize (A&A) processes supporting DoD acquisition through RMF.Understanding of network and systems security engineering.Experience in software development.Technical SkillsExtensive experience in cybersecurity, cyber resiliency, and cyber test methodologies (DT&E, OT&E, MBCRA, CVPA, AA).Strong understanding of DoD acquisition and T&E processes.Ability to develop cyber test strategies, policies, requirements documents, and repeatable processes.Knowledge of SCADA, critical infrastructure systems, and IT architectures.Proficiency in analyzing system cyber vulnerabilities and survivability requirements.Understanding of network and systems security engineering concepts.Familiarity with RMF and A&A processes.Interpersonal SkillsStrong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.Ability to collaborate with acquisition programs, test teams, and leadership stakeholders.Effective in both independent work and team environments.Strong initiative, professionalism, and ability to manage complex tasks with minimal supervision.Experience guiding and supporting teams through cyber test planning and execution.Additional InformationLocation: Eglin AFB, FLTravel: 30%Onsite#LI-SB1#CTG#TMAS3 Company Overview Odyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
