Analyst I or II - Real Estate Investment Banking

Job Title

Responsible for providing client relationship management and investment banking services to real estate clients, including specialized advisory, capital markets, banking, lending and strategic financing solutions.

Teams include:

• Real Estate Corporate Banking (RECB): Provides client relationship management services that include debt capital markets, lending and strategic financing solutions to large public REITs, institutional real estate investors and real estate operating companies.
• Real Estate Investment Banking (REIB): Provides traditional investment banking services that include strategic advisory (including buy-side and sell-side M&A) and equity capital market services to primarily REITs, real estate funds and large private real estate companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works closely with senior RECIB and CIB professionals
• Performs assigned duties with some independence, including but not limited to, due diligence, document processing, financial modeling, statistical analysis, research, and presentation development
• Serve as a member of merger and acquisition and capital raising transaction teams, providing credit underwriting support, drafting information memoranda, developing management and investor presentations

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree
• Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
• Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Some related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program
