Senior Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview:We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a lead position in the design, development and integration of shipboard mechanical systems and hardware for U.S. Navy platforms. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a team environment and can guide complex mechanical solutions from concept through fleet deployment.Primary Responsibilities:Develop shipboard mechanical hardware designs including enclosures, ruggedized COTS solutions, and electromechanical assemblies. Develop 3D models and engineering documentation. Coordinate mechanical interfaces between engineering and manufacturing teamsBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related disciple8 years of mechanical design experience with at least 3 years supporting US Navy hardwareStrong SolidWorks CAD Design skillsAbility to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.Preferred QualificationsStrong experience in sheet metal, machining, and additive manufacturing techniquesStrong experience with design for assembly and production processesIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
