• Beds: Whole hospital

• Experience: 2 years

• First-time traveler: Yes

• Patient Types:

• Neonate to geriatric, inpatient and ED, including deliveries and open hearts

• Patient Ratios:

• 1:1

• Required Certifications:

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, CRT or RRT

• Skills required

• Required: Draw ABGs, wean and extubate, vent management, bipap, cpap, nebs

• Preferred: Place art lines, intubate

• NICU- experience in C-sections and infant vents – must be comfortable with deliveries

• Support on the Unit:

• Code blue/RRT team

• Other respiratory therapists

• Charting System/Equipment:

• EPIC

• Alaris IV pumps

• Pyxis

• Puritan Bennet

• Hamilton Vents

• Floating:

• Throughout the facility, ER

• Orientation:

• 1-2 shifts based on comfort level

• Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: every 3rd

• Can we approve time off? Up to 7 days

• No on call

• Holiday Expectations: 1 summer/1 winter
