Member Experience Advisor

Role About the Role When a member walks into a Financial Center, they may be making a routine deposit, opening their first account, exploring a loan, or simply looking for someone they can trust to point them in the right direction. As a Member Experience Advisor (MEA), you'll be that person-combining everyday banking expertise with genuine relationship-building to help members make informed financial decisions. This is a universal role where no two conversations are exactly the same. You'll move comfortably between processing transactions, opening accounts, supporting lending conversations, and helping members discover digital tools and financial solutions that fit their needs. You'll also have opportunities to reach out to members, follow up on relationships, and connect with the community through events and partnerships. If you enjoy getting to know people, understanding what they need, and finding ways to make their financial lives easier, this role puts those skills to work every day. Major Duties and Responsibilities More Than a Transaction The work starts with creating a welcoming experience, but it doesn't end there. You'll use consultative conversations to understand what matters to each member and identify products, services, and solutions that can support their financial well-being. Your day may include processing transactions with accuracy, opening memberships and deposit accounts, or helping a member navigate a consumer lending application. You'll also introduce members to digital banking and self-service tools when they can make managing their finances more convenient. The goal is to make each interaction feel personal and purposeful. Whether you're helping with a simple transaction or having a deeper financial conversation, you'll balance operational accuracy with the relationship-building that sets the experience apart. Building Relationships Beyond the Financial Center Strong member relationships often continue after the initial conversation. You'll conduct outbound outreach, schedule appointments, and follow up on opportunities to deepen those relationships. You'll also support community engagement efforts by welcoming and onboarding members connected to community events and partnerships. Along the way, you'll work toward established service, membership growth, referral, digital adoption, and production goals. Meeting those goals is important, but so is how you get there-through thoughtful conversations, appropriate recommendations, and a consistent focus on doing what is right for the member. You'll also be responsible for maintaining the accuracy, security, and compliance that keep the Financial Center running smoothly. Following operational procedures, security standards, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines ensures members can trust both the service they receive and the way their financial information is handled. Knowledge and Skills What Helps You Succeed Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of customer service or financial institution experience preferred.
• Previous teller, new accounts, or lending experience preferred.
• Experience working in sales, service, or relationship-focused environments preferred.
• Experience with member problem resolution and consultative conversations preferred.
• Experience meeting production, referral, or performance goals preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Notary Public preferred or the ability to obtain.
