Southern Health Partners is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Medical Assistant to join our night shift team at the Madison County Detention Center in Alabama. Job DescriptionAs a Clinical Medical Assistant, you’ll support nursing staff and providers in delivering patient care within a secure correctional healthcare environment. Your role will help keep operations running smoothly while ensuring patients receive professional and compassionate care.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with intake screenings and patient assessments
- Obtaining vital signs and medical histories
- Preparing patients for examinations and treatments
- Supporting medication pass and treatment procedures
- Maintaining accurate medical documentation
- Scheduling and coordinating healthcare services
- Assisting with inventory and medical supplies
- Responding professionally in urgent situations alongside the medical team
