Position Overview
We are hiring a Slipsheet Forklift Operator to support our production and distribution operations. This role is responsible for safely moving finished goods and raw materials using a forklift equipped with a push/pull (slipsheet) attachment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution setting.
Pay is $18-$20/hr.
Shift is 7:00am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Operate slipsheet (push/pull) forklift to transport products between production lines, storage areas, and shipping docks
- Load and unload inbound/outbound shipments using slipsheets
- Supply production lines with materials and remove finished goods in a timely manner
- Verify product counts, labels, and shipment accuracy
- Stage and organize inventory for distribution and shipment
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any issues
- Follow all company safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to meet daily output goals
Qualifications
- Valid Slipsheet (push/pull) forklift certification is required
- Experience in a production, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire
