Overview The Observation Unit at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where colleagues collaborate and celebrate each other\'s successes. The unit serves a general medical and cardiac patient population, including presentations such as Syncope, CHF exacerbation, Chest Pain, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Nausea/Vomiting, Dehydration, and Post PCI. The leadership emphasizes empathy, diversity, and a supportive culture focused on patient safety and positive outcomes. Responsibilities As a skilled and compassionate RN, provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and effective communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
