Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Registered Nurse – Peri-Anesthesia

Schedule: Days, 8 hours shifts

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Requirements:

• 3 years PACU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during the peri-anesthesia continuum.
• Conduct thorough assessments and data collection to inform the development of individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with the anesthesia team regarding patient assessments and potential issues.
• Provide care to patients transitioning from Phase I to Phase II post-anesthesia based on established standards.
• Ensure effective intervention to meet patients' physical, psychological, educational, sociocultural, and spiritual needs.

Compliance / Notes:

• On-call response time within 30 minutes required.
• All RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal; requests may not be honored after submission.
