Job Title: Night Warehouse Manager
Location: Deforest, WI

We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 6 locations. This is a hands on, working manager position! This position will report up to the General Manager and is responsible for supervising a group of warehouse employees. Assigning tasks as necessary to ensure that work is complete and proper usage of available resources. This role will assist in shipping/receiving, loading and unloading of trucks, and checking-in merchandise. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse supervisory experience, collaborate effectively and professionally with the team, and will lead by example.

Pay: $65,000 - $70,000 dependent on experience

Schedule:

• Days Working: Sunday – Friday
• Days Off: Saturday + rotating Wednesday/Friday
• Hours Working: 4 PM till complete

What we look for:

• High school diploma or GED preferred with 2-4 years of related experience
• Previous Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required
• 3+ years of management experience is preferred
• Must be a self-directed individual with the ability to read and interpret company documents, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Must have the ability to perform basic math calculations and work in a fast paced and rapidly growing distribution environment
• Obtain licensure to operate warehouse equipment within the first 30 days

What you’ll do:

• SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment at all times and follow all safety guidelines
• Interview potential new team members and manage a team of warehouse employees
• Must be willing to adjust work schedule as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining a warehouse that is accessible and safe for company personnel and LFF visitors
• Responsible for reading pick tickets and/or requisitions to select and assemble product for customer orders.
• Implement established food safety practices throughout all warehouse employees
• Required to stand and walk for extended periods, to push/pull, lift/carry, or exert force of up to 75 lbs. or more
• Implement processes and procedures and hold employees accountable to follow them.
• Must complete scheduling for shift.
• KPI driven for results
• Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required
