Emergency Licensed Veterinary Technician - Overnight

VCA Animal Emergency Hospital Southeast Calder Road is looking for an Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician to join a one-of-a-kind Emergency and Critical Care Hospital!

Full-time, Overnight 8pm-8am, three 12-hour shifts per week

Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Location: League City, TX 77573

Veterinary Technician Experience required. Emergency experience preferred. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift over 30 pounds without assistance.

• Must be able to place IV Catheters, surgery monitoring, triage emergency cases, manage hospitalized cases, communicate efficiently with doctors and staff, calculate drug dosing, administer medications via injection, oral, and topical routes.
• Standard hospital cleaning duties.
• Follow hospital checklists and protocols.
• Maintain highest standard of patient care.

Our hospital has been serving the Bay Area near Houston for over 20 years. We are a nights, weekends and holidays facility, AHAA accredited and believe in providing the best possible care to our patients and excellent service to our clients.
