Laboratory Equipment Service Technician (Entry-Level) Yalist Labs | Waltham, MA Build Your Career in the Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology Industry Yalist Labs is a growing laboratory equipment service company supporting leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, and research laboratories throughout the United States. We specialize in the repair, preventive maintenance, calibration, and refurbishment of laboratory instrumentation. Responsibilities Repair and refurbish laboratory equipment Perform preventive maintenance and calibration services Learn the operation of a wide variety of laboratory instruments Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic systems Test and verify equipment performance Prepare equipment for shipment and customer delivery Maintain a clean, organized work environment Travel to customer laboratories on occasion Grow Beyond Service Employees interested in expanding their responsibilities will have opportunities to: Identify new pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and research customers Develop customer relationships Assist with quotations and technical proposals Earn commission for helping secure new service contracts Preferred Qualifications We're interested in people with strong character and a willingness to learn. Preferred backgrounds include: Biology Biotechnology Biomedical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Physics Military technical experience Automotive, HVAC, electronics, or mechanical repair experience No previous laboratory equipment experience is necessary.
