Speech and Language Pathologist in Hayward, CA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure as an SLP or eligibility for licensure
• CCC-SLP preferred; open to qualified SLPAs with supervisory support
• Knowledge of best practices for speech, language, and communication services in a school setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility and a problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech, language, and communication support to students as identified in their IEPs during ESY and the regular school year
• Conduct assessments and interpret data to inform recommendations for student services
• Engage in IEP meetings, providing input on goals and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain precise documentation and progress notes as required by district and state guidelines
• Supervise and support SLPAs as needed if qualified to do so
