We are working with a customer who is looking for a full time Shipping / Receiving Coordinator!

A Shipping/Receiving Coordinator manages the flow of inbound and outbound shipments, oversees inventory accuracy, and ensures smooth coordination between warehouse operations, carriers, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping

·       Prepare and package outgoing orders according to company and carrier guidelines.

·       Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and all required documentation.

·       Schedule pickups with carriers and ensure orders depart on time.

·       Verify accuracy of shipped items, quantities, and packaging.

Receiving

·       Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and completeness.

·       Verify packing lists and purchase orders against delivered items.

·       Properly label, document, and store incoming materials.

·       Communicate discrepancies or damaged materials to purchasing or supervisors.

Inventory & Documentation

·       Update inventory systems with received and shipped goods.

·       Track stock movements and assist with cycle counts or full inventory counts.

·       Maintain organized and accurate records of shipments, receipts, and adjustments.

General Warehouse Support

·       Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely (if certified).

·       Keep work areas clean, safe, and compliant with company safety standards.

·       Collaborate with warehouse staff, purchasing, and production teams to meet workflow needs.

Qualifications

·       High school diploma or equivalent required.

·       5+ years shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred.

·       Familiarity with shipping software (UPS, FedEx, LTL freight portals) is a plus.

·       Basic computer skills, including email and inventory systems.

·       Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.

·       Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
