Global Supply Manager - Seats & Cover Stocks Phoenix, AZ Overview Lucid Motors is seeking a Global Supply Manager for Seats & Cover stocks commodities. This role interfaces with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality, and Manufacturing to deliver world‑class products on time and at the right cost. The Global Supply Manager will identify, develop, and manage the global supply chain strategy and support cross‑functional teams during development and industrialization phases. Responsibilities Collaborate with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify potential suppliers with the right qualifications to meet Lucid’s expectations and timeline Create RFQs, review quotations, and develop sourcing recommendations balancing cost, quality, lead-time, and technical considerations Negotiate contracts including parts pricing, tooling costs, and Engineering Services (NRE / EDT) Release parts into production with Engineering and issue POs for Prototype Parts and Prototype/Production Tooling Manage supplier development and tooling timelines, ensure part availability for prototypes and start of production, and resolve delays Maintain supplier relationships and serve as the point of contact for commercial issues, including reporting sourcing status, parts availability, and cost status Travel 15–25% to visit suppliers for business and program reviews Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in technical, supply chain, or finance with minimum 2 years of Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering experience; Master’s degree with minimum 1 year experience; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering within the automotive industry; familiarity with interior trims/cover stocks and related commodity systems Preferred experience with injection molding, wrapping/assembly, compression molding, cover stocks, Class‑A painted surfaces Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills with a results‑oriented mindset Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational and program management abilities Proficiency in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) Compensation & Benefits Lucid offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off and holidays; a 401(k) retirement plan; and eligibility for equity and discretionary incentive programs.
