The work The Billing SME Lead validates billing requirements, rate logic, exceptions, bill accuracy, customer‑impact scenarios, and operational readiness. The role provides billing quality advisory and operational validation focused on complex rates, TOU/RTP, reversals, locks/blocks, BPEM, ORT, UAT sign‑off, first‑cycle readiness, and hypercare root‑cause analysis. This position delivers reviewed requirements, edge‑case documentation, validation rules, ORT dispositions, operational procedures, training inputs, and issue‑resolution guidance. Critical capabilities include deep revenue‑billing operations knowledge, regulatory and customer‑impact understanding, exception‑management expertise, complex‑rate proficiency, bill‑compare skill, and production‑stabilization experience. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
