My 88-year-old father is a retired physician who lives independently in Chicago. He remains active, walks daily, and manages his own affairs, but would benefit from regular social interaction and assistance with technology. This is NOT a hands-on caregiving position. No bathing, lifting, toileting, medication administration, or medical care is required. We're looking for a patient, intelligent, and engaging person who enjoys conversation and can spend 1-2 visits per week helping with things such as: iPhone and iPad questions Photos and videos Email and internet use AI tools such as ChatGPT Organizing digital files Accompanying short walks or coffee outings General companionship and conversation Ideal candidates might include: College students Pre-med, nursing, PT, OT, or social work students Retired professionals Anyone who enjoys spending time with older adults My father has a lifetime of stories and experience in medicine, travel, and life.
