Senior Manager of Accounting

Randstad is assisting a corporate office headquartered in Las Vegas, NV with a search for a highly analytical, proactive, and results-driven Senior Manager of Accounting. Working directly alongside the Senior Director of Accounting, overseeing full-cycle general ledger operations, drive month-end and year-end close processes, ensure GAAP compliance, and lead a dedicated team of accounting professionals.

This position offers an opportunity for an accounting leader with expertise in fixed assets, cash/treasury accounting, inventory control, and multi-location accounting. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and brings a strong sense of urgency to financial operations.

Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000 + bonus

Responsibilities

General Ledger Leadership: Manages daily GL operations across AP, AR, Treasury, Fixed Assets, and Inventory, ensuring timely and accurate postings in accordance with GAAP.

Month-End & Year-End Close: Directs and executes monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; prepares, reviews, and approves complex journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages.

Inventory Accounting: Oversees inventory tracking, cost controls, and financial reporting across multiple locations, investigating variances and driving process improvements.

Team Supervision & Mentorship: Recruits, trains, and manages a team of 3 accounting professionals, promoting performance accountability, engagement, and professional development.

Treasury & Cash Management: Oversees corporate cash management, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reporting.

Fixed Assets: Directs asset tracking, capitalization, depreciation, and reporting across all operational units.

Financial Analysis & Budgeting: Assists leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decisions.

Process Automation & Audit Readiness: Leads initiatives to optimize accounting workflows, strengthen internal controls, and manage external audit requests.
