Senior Manager of Strategy

This role supports strategic initiatives, investments, and business development opportunities across a global group’s U.S. energy portfolio and affiliates. You’ll conduct market, commercial, and financial analyses, evaluate partnerships and investment opportunities, and develop executive-ready recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Working with headquarters leadership, portfolio companies, and cross-functional stakeholders, you’ll drive strategic planning and initiatives that advance the group’s long-term growth objectives in the U.S. energy market.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct market intelligence, competitive analysis, and strategic planning across the energy sector and (hyperscale) technology industry to identify growth opportunities, anticipate market trends, and align U.S. business initiatives with HQ’s global prioritiesEvaluate strategic investment, commercialization, and partnership opportunities by integrating market, technical, operational, and financial insights into executive-ready business cases and recommendationsDevelop and maintain commercial and financial models, including total cost of ownership (TCO), levelized cost of energy (LCOE), pricing, margin, and partnership economics, to assess strategic scenarios and quantify business impactPrepare executive reports, strategic briefings, investment committee (IC) materials, and board-level presentations, distilling complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for senior leadershipServe as a strategic liaison between HQ executive management and internal and external stakeholders, including regional business teams, technology and commercial partners, customers, portfolio companies, and cross-functional teams, to align priorities, build consensus, and drive execution across global organizationsInterpret HQ strategic direction and executive communications to translate evolving priorities into actionable initiativesLead cross-functional strategic initiatives by coordinating global timelines, managing stakeholder expectations, and aligning commercial, technical, operational, and financial perspectivesSupport corporate strategy initiatives and executive analyses as business priorities evolve, providing structured, data-driven insights to inform critical business decisionsRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, investment analysis, or related strategic roles, preferably within a global organizationAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with demonstrated expertise in financial and commercial modelingStrong analytical capabilities, structured problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable business insightsProven experience developing executive-level presentations, investment committee materials, business cases, and strategic recommendations for senior leadershipDemonstrated ability to manage multiple strategic workstreams, coordinate cross-functional teams, and engage internal and external stakeholders across diverse prioritiesExcellent communication, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in the power, energy, infrastructure, or AI data center sectorsExperience supporting investments, M&A, joint ventures, or strategic partnershipsProficiency with AI productivity toolsDiscipline(s): Renewable Energy, Cleantech and SaaSJob type: Permanent
