What We’re Looking For 

Are you a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is passionate about helping students succeed? We’d love to connect with you! 

Qualifications: 

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program 

• Active licensure through the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners 

• Current CPR certification 

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required 

• Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required 

Your Role 

As a school-based Physical Therapist Assistant , you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help students improve mobility, increase independence, and better access their educational environment. Responsibilities may include: 

• Implementing therapy services and interventions outlined in student IEPs 

• Assisting with therapeutic activities designed to improve functional mobility and participation in the school setting 

• Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate service records 

• Collaborating with Physical Therapists, educators, and special education teams to support student success 

• Assisting with adaptive equipment, positioning, and mobility recommendations 

• Participating in ARD meetings and team discussions as appropriate 

• Supporting a positive, student-centered educational environment 

Your work will directly impact students’ ability to access their education and thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
