Certified Surgical Technologist - CST

We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This permanent position plays a critical role in patient care, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and registered nurses to ensure surgeries are carried out under optimal conditions. Schedule: 5x8 shift, day shift only with no nights, no call, no weekends, no holidays. Benefits 5x8 schedule with no nights, no call, no weekends, no holidays Very supportive, team‑oriented working environment Excellent benefits Lunch provided daily Responsibilities Preparing the operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring the equipment is functioning properly and safely. Preparing the operating room and the patient for surgery and providing support to the surgical team during the procedure. Setting up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for the procedure. Performing patient care activities, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, before and after surgical procedures. Anticipating the needs of the surgical team and providing necessary assistance during surgeries. Ensuring all specimens are correctly handled and processed. Adhering to the highest standards of medical and professional conduct while providing care to patients. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all health and safety guidelines. Participating in the analysis of surgical procedure for patient safety, and recommending appropriate interventions. Qualifications A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in orthopedics is required. Current certification as a Surgical Technologist. Experience in an ambulatory surgery center is highly preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Demonstrated knowledge of operating room protocols and procedures. Excellent knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment, including their use, sterilization, and maintenance. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons.
