Primary Location United States (US) - Illinois - East Moline Function Operations (CA) Title Material Coordinator - 124495 Onsite/Remote Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Material Coordinator for John Deere Harvester Works, located in East Moline, IL you will: Work critical shortage reports and audit material to ensure part availability, while utilizing SAP and additional tools to support aspects of the material delivery process Communicate and work closely with several functional areas including operations, engineering, supply management, and material flow to root cause and correct material shortages, inventory discrepancies, reporting and consumption issues Coordinate and support engineering changes on the shop floor Actively support the Continuous Improvement (CI) process and shop floor initiatives Visa Sponsorship VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position What Skills You Need 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Excel Demonstrated ability to multitask and work within a team in a fast-paced atmosphere Data analysis and problem-solving skills Ability to work overtime, both daily and/or on the weekend What Makes You Stand Out Experience with SAP, or a similar inventory tracking system Knowledge of Manufacturing, Warehousing, Order Fulfillment, Supply Management, and/or Material Flow processes Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Two-year college degree, preferably in Business or Supply Management or equivalent related work experience What You'll Get At John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
