Equip./Laborer Leadman in Lebanon, IN

GrayWolf is seeking Equipment/Laborer Leadman at our Lebanon, IN site.

Essential Duties:

• Lead the material handlers and expeditor's on a day to day basis and directing work under direction of the Manager
• Safety - promote safety and work safely around the hazards associated with the construction field.
• Plan, coordinate and/or supervise work activities of crews.
• Thoroughly review contract and all available scope documents, drawings, specifications, and shop estimate.
• Manage the department's inventory
• Assist with the implementation/interpretation of safety programs.
• Miscellaneous duties as directed

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years material handler/tool room industrial construction setting
• Previous leadman experience is preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• Familiar with construction methods, techniques, and labor requirements and how they apply to industrial construction projects.
• Completion of Safety related certifications such as OSHA 10 as required by company and/or client.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have locking tool box and tools necessary to perform the job.
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements.

Physical/Site Requirements:

• Provide OSHA 10 card and or obtain OSHA 10 within 30 days of hire.
• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age.
• Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
• Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
• PPE footwear/prescription safety glasses or eye shields required. This job site requires long sleeves
• Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-hire requirements
