Location: New Castle, DE / Jersey City, NJ / Tampa, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $90,000-$130,000 per Year


Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, MongoDB, and cloud/container platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java-based microservices while ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17.
Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.
Experience designing microservices architecture, including service decomposition and API contracts.
Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
Experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, and partitioning.
Strong experience with MongoDB, including document modeling, indexing, aggregation, CRUD operations, and performance tuning.
Experience with OpenShift and/or AWS.
Strong SQL experience, including developing and optimizing queries for transactional and reporting use cases.
Experience with REST-based integrations between upstream and downstream systems.
Knowledge of exception handling, logging, monitoring, and resiliency patterns.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production support.
Strong understanding of secure coding and compliance standards.
