IT Operations Specialist

Join a fast-paced Technical Operations environment where you'll help support real-time systems from a secure, onsite facility in Las Vegas. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing workflows, solving technical problems, and turning operational complexity into clear, actionable improvements.
Responsibilities

• Observe live operational processes and document workflows, dependencies, and system interactions
• Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve efficiency
• Partner with teams across operations, infrastructure, engineering, and DevOps to support smoother execution
• Create clear and useful process documentation, summaries, and recommendations
• Communicate findings and updates to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Support a mission-critical environment that requires attention to detail, consistency, and responsiveness

Skills

• Strong technical documentation and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas: Windows workstation support, real-time operations or command-center environments, TCP/IP networking or systems administration, or web application/infrastructure troubleshooting
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site operations setting
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with cross-functional technical teams

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a NOC, SOC, operations center, or similar 24x7 support environment
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, cloud diagnostics, or automation platforms
• Experience working closely with infrastructure or DevOps teams
• Five or more years of relevant technical experience
• Ability to stay organized and calm while supporting mission-critical systems
