Machine Operator III - US

Job Title: Machine Operator (Folder Operator) Location: Raleigh, NC 27615 Shift: 2nd shift: 3:30p-11:30pm Training: The operators will train on 1st shift first before moving to 2nd shift Pay rate: $25/hr on W2 Start: Can start with cleared DT while BG is running Job Description / Responsibilities Set up and operate insert folding equipment Perform make-readies and minor machine adjustments Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance Prepare materials (fatstock) for folding inserts Make trays and shippers as needed Follow safety protocols (PPE: steel toe shoes, hearing/eye protection, no cell phones) Adhere to 6S, SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED 2 3 years related experience preferred Mechanical aptitude required (mechanical test may be administered) Ability to read a ruler and perform basic math Strong reading, writing, and communication skills in English Basic computer skills Must pass color vision and hue tests Ability to lift 50 lbs Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime as needed Physical Requirements Sit, stand, walk, talk, see, and hear as part of daily duties Reasonable accommodations may be available for disabilities Top Requirements / Skills Mechanical skills Ability to read a ruler Able to lift 50 lbs #J-18808-Ljbffr Pacer Group
