Registered Nurse CVOR

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Surgery to provide acute care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The RN will support the CVOR team, ensuring high-quality patient care through all perioperative phases.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform preoperative assessment and prepare patients for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist in intraoperative care, ensuring sterile techniques and proper equipment functionality.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes during surgery.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Document all clinical interventions accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
  
  
• 
  Adapt to facility protocols and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with at least 1 year of cardiovascular surgery experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in perioperative nursing, with a focus on CVOR procedures.
  
  
• 
  Possess current ACLS certification and BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  
  
• 
  Fulfill all hospital policies regarding safety and patient care standards.
