About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a diverse range of ultrasound diagnostics, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures while clearly communicating each step involved
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain operation of imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions promptly
• Document procedures accurately and uphold comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep informed of emerging ultrasound practices and methodologies

Education Required

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
