Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Sleep Medicine - Clinical Faculty

CLINICAL FACULTY POSITION – PULMONARY AND CRITICAL CARE MEDICINE University of California, San Francisco, Department of Medicine We are seeking clinical faculty to join our Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Sleep Medicine division. The role involves providing exceptional inpatient and outpatient care, teaching, administrative duties, and research opportunities across multiple UCSF sites. Key Responsibilities Provide patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings, including day or night shifts at one or more UCSF locations. Participate in teaching activities for medical students, residents, and graduate trainees. Engage in administrative and programmatic duties within the division and broader medical school. Contribute to research and scholarly endeavors within pulmonary and critical care medicine. Serve on clinical and educational committees as assigned. Qualifications Completed fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Board certified or board eligible in pulmonary and/or critical care medicine. Eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor at UCSF. Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and/or research. Salary and Effort For positions 51% effort or greater: base salary $131,200–$344,400 per year. For positions 50% effort or less: estimated salary $93,700–$246,000 per year.
