Job Summary:

As Chef Manager, you'll lead daily kitchen operations, prepare quality meals, develop menus, and guide your team through successful service. We're looking for a working chef who enjoys being in the kitchen, takes pride in presentation, and keeps operations organized and efficient. Culinary leaders from restaurants, hotels, catering, and other foodservice settings are welcome!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily food production and execution of breakfast and lunch service
• Plan menus that balance variety, quality, customer preferences, and food costs
• Supervise, train, and support hourly culinary associates
• Manage ordering, inventory, portion control, and waste reduction
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards
• Plan and execute catering events as needed
• Build strong relationships with customers and client partners
• Introduce new culinary programs in partnership with Morrison's support teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Progressive culinary experience with kitchen leadership or supervisory responsibilities
• Culinary degree or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong cooking, menu planning, organization, and team leadership skills
• Experience with ordering, inventory, and food cost controls
• Catering and high-volume production experience a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
• ServSafe certification preferred
