Occupational Therapist School Setting in Oakhurst, CA

Desired Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or COTA (required)
• Previous experience in school-based settings is highly desirable
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized support
• Ability to manage time effectively across caseloads and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Passion for working with children and adapting therapy to diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Conduct evaluations and document findings for new and existing students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support each child's goals and success in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
• Provide training and resources to school staff on strategies that promote student participation and independence
