** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Construction Analyst 2 to fill a contract assignment in the Birmingham, Al area.  It is estimated to last 3-year duration.

This position is on site only.

Provide advanced analytical support to the construction team, leveraging extensive

experience in data collection, reporting, and performance tracking for complex projects. Take a lead role in the preparation and management of project budgets, including detailed cost estimation, tracking, and in-depth variance analysis. Independently collect, organize, and analyze data pertaining to project progress, expenses, and resource allocation, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and completeness. Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to gather, synthesize, and analyze data for construction reports and presentations, offering expert insights and recommendations. Generate comprehensive reports, visualizations, and dashboards to effectively communicate project status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and critical metrics. Play a pivotal role in coordinating project meetings, documenting discussions, action items, and follow-up tasks, and providing expert-level support for project management.

Take the lead in evaluating vendor and contractor performance, providing strategic input for supplier management and procurement decisions, and contributing to supplier relationship management efforts. Stay at the forefront of industry trends, bestpractices, and emerging technologies in construction analytics, leveraging expertise to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and expertise in data visualization tools. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.

Proven adaptability to new technologies and tools in the construction analytics field.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
