Position Overview As a Sales Manager, you will lead a team of dedicated retail professionals, ensuring customers receive expert styling and superior service. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and motivating staff, maintaining store operations and visual presentation, and exceeding sales goals. Responsibilities Recruit, interview, and hire new employees and managers. Train, develop, and retain top‑notch employees and managers. Maintain high store morale and reinforce the selling culture through the company’s five steps of selling. Deliver in‑the‑moment and written feedback. Motivate employees and managers as a supreme leader. Ensure store operations and visual presentation meet AKIRA’s standards. Uphold and enforce all company policies. Achieve and surpass individual and store sales goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Lead by example to promote and embody AKIRA’s culture and code of conduct through the four stated principles. Requirements Passion for fashion. Fanatical work ethic. Strong leadership skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. High motivation and a sense of urgency. Minimum of one year experience in retail management. Ability to supervise, motivate, and direct employees effectively. Adaptability to new directions and change. In‑depth knowledge of visual merchandising and customer service. Knowledge of store operations, including inventory control, loss prevention, retail systems, and budget preparation. Hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset critical to store success. Collaborative ability to build strong relationships with employees and managers. Physical Requirements Move product, supplies, or boxes repetitively; lift a maximum of 50 lb when necessary. Stand and walk for extended periods, including a 10–12 hour shift.
