Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns from start to finish.
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information, provide updates, and offer tax planning insights.
- Record tax-related entries into accounting software and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Apply and advise on tax reduction strategies.
- Prepare and/or review financial statements.
- Occasionally correspond with the IRS on behalf of clients.
- CPA license required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tax preparation and review within public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. tax codes for individuals and small businesses.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrated success managing end-to-end tax processes in a fast-paced environment.
