Document Control Coordinator

Position Description Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Quality Coordinator (Document Control) at our manufacturing facility in Provo, Utah. Key Details Hourly Pay: $25.50+ depending upon experience/certifications Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Requirements: 3 years of quality assurance experience with document control within a food manufacturing facility Role Overview This position is responsible for ensuring quality expectations including employee safety, food safety, sanitation and quality systems. Will work with state‑of‑the‑art equipment in the safest warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain documents and records related to the quality system (specifications, master manufacturing records, change control, deviations, material disposition forms) Collect and review supplier approval documents Assist with internal audits Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications Inspect product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants prior to packaging according to specifications Perform timely checks to meet specifications Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety Maintain qualification to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc. Ensure product quality meets customer, state and federal guidelines Qualifications Associate’s Degree preferred; high school diploma required Previous experience in a food grade facility Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 3 or more years of QA/Document Control experience in the food and/or dietary supplement industry Skilled using Microsoft Word and Excel Benefits Warehouse positions pay each week On‑the‑job paid training Medical, dental, vision, 401 K with company match; eligibility starts at 30 days Paid time off 15 % employee discount on high‑valued stock Employee discounts on tools, cars, hotels, electronics, cell phones, travel, and more Safety gear provided; safety is the first priority State‑of‑the‑art equipment and caring leadership EEO Statement Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and drug‑free workplace.
