About the Opportunity / What You ll Do:
You ll join a team handling installation, service, and commissioning of fire alarm systems on commercial projects throughout the Austin metro area. You will:
Install, terminate, and program fire alarm systems and initiating/notification devices
Read and interpret fire alarm drawings, risers, and submittal packages
Run and dress cable, install conduit, and build system pathways
Test, troubleshoot, and verify system functionality
Work with inspectors, project managers, and site supervisors to ensure code compliance
Document work performed and maintain accurate records Qualifications / Who You Are
This role requires licensed, experienced fire alarm professionals. You must have:
A current Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL or above)
3+ years of commercial fire alarm installation, service, or commissioning experience
Strong familiarity with common fire alarm systems, panels, and programming procedures
Ability to read and interpret NFPA-72 and local code requirements
Experience working on active commercial construction projects
Solid troubleshooting skills and confidence working independently or with a team
