Mental Health Clinical Manager in Douglasville

Minimum Qualifications A. Education – Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited college or university. B. Licensure/Certification – Current, unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor or Clinical Social Worker. C. Experience – Minimum three-years (3) years of human services, social work and/or clinical experience working with the SPMI population; 1 year in supervisory role. D. Other – Criminal background check clearance, official academic transcripts, valid driver’s license/ID, drug screen, TB test. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct all professional activity in an ethical manner. Conform to all applicable Agency policies and procedures. In conjunction with other staff assist in identifying and eliminating any situation which puts at risk the health and/or safety of clients, staff, or others who come in contact with site operations. Utilize literature, workshops, and other training aids to continually improve clinical and administrative skills. Assist in assuring Agency compliance with all related licensing and accreditation requirements. Maintain licensure/credentials by completing all recommended continuing education requirements. Other responsibilities and tasks as may be assigned. Direct Service Supervises and plans work of assigned staff. Perform individual and couples/family counseling sessions, as needed, and document sessions on the same day of service. Complete clinical health assessments to address behavioral health needs of individuals and treatment plans as needed. Assist clients with crisis management and perform involuntary commitments (1013’s) according to clinical and state guidelines as needed. Lead staff/treatment team meetings to review client progress, needs, and continued plan of care. Participate in discharge planning meetings and ensure LOCs and/or Discharges are completed within required timeframes. Ensure and provide high quality, compassionate, and ethical mental health counseling to improve program and organizational performance. Intervene, stabilize, and manage acute crisis situations as needed. Train staff in areas relating to service specialties as needed. Maintain confidentiality for all indirect/direct service in accordance with agency policies and HIPAA policies. Other responsibilities and tasks as may be assigned. Administrative Maintain clinical records in accordance with agency policies. Ensure timely completion of agency required trainings/workshops/documentation. Other responsibilities and tasks as may be assigned. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct care, supervision, and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at a day program. DSPs assist individuals in achieving personal goals, developing independent living skills, participating in community activities, and maintaining their health and safety while promoting dignity, respect, and person-centered services. #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Jobline ZR
