Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. Block scheduling available based on unit needs. 48-hour shifts approved.

Highlights:

• 379-bed short-term acute care hospital with Level II Trauma Center designation
• Patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3, with potential for 1:3 due to specialty patient needs
• 13-patient daily census in a 16-bed ICU with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Opportunity to work with advanced equipment including CRRT (Prismaflex/Prismax), Masimo hemodynamic monitoring, and Spacelabs patient monitoring systems
• Diverse patient population including adults and geriatrics with complex diagnoses ranging from respiratory disorders to post-cardiac arrest care

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Must be willing to float between sister ICUs (SICU, CICU, NSICU)
• Clean background check required; no Nursys or background hits accepted
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
