General Manager - The Fattened Caf - Wash U Campus

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee daily operations, drive business performance, and create an exceptional guest experience at a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming guest experience.
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate team members to support performance and professional growth.
• Establish clear expectations for service, cleanliness, food quality, and operational consistency.
• Monitor labor, inventory, ordering, and budget performance to support profitability.
• Review sales trends and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to maintain strong customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate staffing schedules and manage workflow to meet business needs.
• Support vendor relationships, supply ordering, and inventory control processes.
• Collaborate with ownership or senior leadership on goals, initiatives, and business growth.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in hospitality, food service, retail, or a similar customer-facing environment.
• Strong understanding of operations, team management, and customer service best practices.
• Experience managing budgets, labor costs, inventory, and performance metrics.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.
